Gerald
Arnold is the sixth child born to George and Dorothy Born October 5 1934 in Rock island Illinois and the (twin to George Arthur).
He
married Mary Kathryn October 5 1956 in Green rock Illinois.
He
was employed at the Rock Island Mill works until they closed down in the early 1960's.
He
then got a job with the city of Moline in Moline Illinois.
Together Gerald
and Kay have five children Geraldine, Mary, Karen, Gerald Jr., and Larry. Geralds third child Karen is the mother of
twins, its starting to look like that old wife's tale is true.
Gerald
enjoyed going camping and to stock car races to watch his youngest son drive.
Gerald
and Kay divorced around the year of 1981 and Gerald remarried Mildred L.
She
was born January 20 1934 in North Dakota She past away October 3 1989 in Moline Illinois.
Jerry
developed a Brain Tumor in 1998 the Doctors removed what they could of it and he fought for four years. Battling terrible
Headaches and radiation therapy. In the early summer of 2002 he Bagan to decline and had to be hospitalized.
He
past away June 25 2002 at Trinity Hospital in Rock Island Illinois. He was layed to rest at green view memorial Gardens in
East Moline Illinois.
One thing I remember of him, from when I was little is how use to like to spend time in front
of the mirror. And when he knew I was watching, he would say "damn, your good looking George"(his twin brother) and then answer, "I know it Jerry". It is funny what little things stick
with you in your mind.
